Claudia Greco, originally from Italy is a Berlin based freelance photographer and performative artist.
After her studies in Dance and Art in Rome she moved to Germany in 2006 and began her career working internationally as a contemporary dancer both in the contemporary freelance scene and for established institutions such as Komische Oper and Deutsche Oper in Berlin. In photography her interest lies mostly in people. The theater aesthetics and dynamics play a key role in Claudia's vision. In her personal projects the staging and the choreographic composition dictate the rules for a constructed and composed photography, where glossy atmospheres, pieces of stage costumes and decadent settings often create the scenario in which the women and men portrayed play their roles. The curtain falls before the camera and so does prejudice; the subjects reveal themselves in their most intimate delicacy, in the fullness of their harmonious and natural beauty.
